GE&S crew uses RG slim oilfield digital logging equipment, which is designed for oil/gas and CBM methane operations. Tool diameter is 2.5″ (63mm).

Tool designs have been optimised for responses in boreholes up to 12″ diameter. The designs are supported by Monte Carlo modelling (nuclear tools) and finite element analysis (resistivity tools). The models have been bench-marked against standard formations. Environmental correction algorithms are included within the acquisition software.

The system is designed for use with 7-conductor 5/16″ or 7/16″ diameter logging wirelines. RG can arrange manufacture of winches and logging vehicles/ skid units for use in all climatic conditions.
